Muntons to Open New Distribution Center in Colorado

Denver, Colo. — Muntons Malted Ingredients, an International leader in the manufacture and supply of British malt, malted ingredients and home brewing kits, has announced plans to open a new distribution center in Denver, Colorado. Slated to open in April of this year, the facility joins three other existing Muntons’ distribution centers located in Boston, MA; Barton, VT; and, San Francisco, CA.

The new Denver location will provide Muntons with a broad platform from which to service Brewers in the Rocky Mountain and Midwestern region of the U.S. “We can now supply our Customers with the great British Malt products they demand in a cost effective manner,” noted Fred Johnson, Executive Vice President of Muntons Malted Ingredients, Inc. “The growing demand for premium quality malt products directed our decision to open this facility in Colorado and we are delighted to become a member of the community,” Johnson added.

The Colorado facility will afford Customers with greater product accessibility, while reducing order lead times and ensuring supply chain continuity. “Dealing directly with the Maltster results in lower product costs for our Brewing Customers with no minimum order requirements,” noted Johnson.

Muntons has been marketing and selling its products into the United States for over 40 years. “The Colorado facility will support and strengthen our market positioning, as we continue to provide the best of British malts to Craft Beer and Brewing enthusiasts throughout the U.S.,” said Johnson.
