Scarlet Lane Releases Eirik Bloodaxe Braggot Style Ale

Scarlet Lane Brewing Company Announces Eirik Bloodaxe Braggot Ale Bottle Release

McCordsville, IN – One of our most popular beers is being launched in 22oz bombers on Saturday, February 20th in the brewery Tap House at 1PM with kegs to follow.

Eirik Bloodaxe is one of Scarlet Lane’s most requested beers after being launched in early 2015. A braggot syle ale, Eirik Bloodaxe is a 11% ABV imperial ale with real honey from McClure’s Orchard and Italian blood orange. Braggot is an ancient Viking style of beer brewed with heavy hops, spices and fruits. Ahtanum hops add a unique hop character to compliment the sweetness from the honey and the citrus from the blood orange.

Eirik Bloodaxe will be available on store shelves starting the week of February 22, 2016 and will continue with the hand drawn labels from good friend Ian McVay of Portland, Oregon’s Jaded Soul Tattoo Shop.
