SEATTLE, Wash. — Reuben’s Brews is excited to announce that we won two medals at the Great American Beer Festival awards held last weekend!

Our Gose was honored with a gold medal in the competitive German-Style Sour category, and our Dry Stout won the bronze in the Classic Irish-Style Dry Stout category. The Dry Stout is available in the taproom now, and the Gose, which made its debut earlier this year, will return in late October.

“I’m speechless right now,” says co-founder and head brewer Adam Robbings. “When you are there pouring at the festival, you realize the enormity of craft beer here in the United States. We’re extremely honored that the GABF judges awarded medals to our beers amongst the 6,700 beers entered. Most importantly, I want to thank our team – we’re a small brewery but this a great recognition for all of our teams hard work.  And we want to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported us since we opened. It has been an amazing, crazy ride and it seems to just keep getting better!”

The Great American Beer Festival, founded in 1982, is the premier U.S. beer festival and competition. Each year, GABF represents the largest collection of U.S. beer ever served, in a public tasting event plus a private competition. The event brings together the brewers and diverse beers that make the U.S. the world’s greatest brewing nation.
