Peak Organic Brewing Releases 2 IPA Variants

Portland, ME — Peak Organic Brewing Co. is releasing two new iterations of their flagship Peak IPA, elevating the pine and citrus characteristics to their most flavorful levels yet. Evergreen IPA & Crush IPA each begin with the bright, floral characteristics of Peak IPA, but use brand new blends that are designed to highlight two ends of the hop spectrum – pine and citrus.

Evergreen IPA is built from Peak’s flagship IPA, but enhances the hoppy pine notes by blending in organic juniper berries and organic spruce. The result is a unique IPA with bright pine and resin hop character. Alternatively, Crush IPA takes the citrus characteristics of Peak IPA and elevates them with a subtle addition of organic blood orange peel. The juicy citrus aroma really pops, and the brisk body of the beer is accented with notes of bright ripened fruit. While both IPA’s clock in at 7.1% ABV, the dryness of the beers make them incredibly quaffable.

“Hops are in our DNA. Our organic farmers are producing some of the most flavorful and pungent hops, and we are continually inspired to find the most unique ways to feature them,” commented founder/brewer Jon Cadoux. “When it comes to the bright flavor of juniper or the way the blood orange accents our citrusy hops, we’re taking the most amazing aspects of our IPA and amplifying them to a remarkable extent.”

Evergreen & Crush will be available in limited quantities starting June 30th. They will be available in both draft and a unique package offering of mixed six-pack can wraps with both IPA’s included.
