Night Shift Releases El Lechedor Bourbon Barrel Aged Milk Stout

Night Shift El Lechedor

Everett, MA – Get ready to take your tastebuds for a tumble. At noon on Sunday, 2/28, Night Shift Brewing will release El Lechedor, a bourbon barrel-aged horchata-style milk stout, on draft and in bottles.

Available once every year, this brew features poblano peppers, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla beans for a rich, spicy flavor profile and a creamy, velvety mouthfeel. 3,000 bottles will be available at $14 each, with no purchase limit to customers.

“This beer pretty much tastes like your favorite cinnamon roll dipped in chocolate,” says Night Shift co-founder Michael Oxton. “El Lechedor has definitely gained a strong following over the years – we’re excited to see the turnout on Sunday.”

To celebrate the long-awaited release, Somerville’s Better Bagels will join the festivities with hand-rolled bagels that rival any New York delicatessen. The Galley Ice Creamwill also be on hand with an El Lechedor-inspired flavor, as this milk stout just beckons to be turned into a sweet confection. Satisfying both the savory and sweet alike, the release of El Lechedor will provide a symphony for the senses and a reward for braving the cold.
