Oceanside, CA – Mason Ale Works commemorates one year in business with the launch of its core portfolio of beers in cans. They have been building their portfolio of craft beers since opening their Oceanside facility in December 2015. The core line-up includes Charley Hustle Red IPA, Jambi IPA, Willy Time Belgian-Style White, and Cash Imperial Coffee Stout.
In addition to the release of the core line-up, Mason will offer the first beer from their new limited edition barrel aged program known as “Snale Works.” The release is an American Strong Ale dubbed Second Son. Made from a blend of Cash Imperial Coffee Stout and an American Barleywine aged in Elijah Craig 12-year old bourbon barrels, this bold beer offers a complex layering of flavors and has the hydrometer barely bobbing at a potent 14% abv.
“Snale Works is a passion project for us,” said Mason Ale Works co-owner Grant Tondro. “It gives us an opportunity to combine our love of brewing with fine art of barrel aging, so critical to the creation of the great wines and fine whiskies we serve at our restaurants. Being able to offer the first Snale Works creation, along with all our other beers in cans is extremely exciting. It’s a great way to celebrate our first anniversary.”
The full line-up of Mason Ale Works beers will be available through Stone Distributing in San Diego County and the Inland Empire beginning December 27, 2016.
