MadTree 2.0 Sets Grand Opening for New Brewery, Taproom and Event Space

MadTree Sets Grand Opening Date for New ‘2.0’ Brewery and Taproom

Cincinnati, OH — MadTree Brewing is inviting the community to attend theGrand Opening of their new state-of-the-art ‘2.0’ brewery, taproom, beer garden, and private event spaces, along with the annual Winter Bonanza celebrating their fourth anniversary, on Saturday, February 11, 2017. The party begins at 11AM and continues through the night until 1AM. The new location brings more space, more parking, and more bathrooms. Guests will have the full taproom, beer garden (with heated tent), and private event spaces to mingle in, along with free parking available at the brewery and across the street.

Just over a year ago, MadTree began the project to renovate the former RockTenn building, an obsolete brownfield manufacturing facility, located at 3301 Madison Road in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Oakley. MadTree invested over $18M constructing the new complex, immediately bringing more than 50 jobs to the City of Cincinnati with plans to create 40 more jobs over the next three years.

“We wouldn’t be here without the insatiable thirst and unending support of the community,” said MadTree Brewing co-founder, Kenny McNutt. “So we are hosting what will become a legendary celebration just four years after we started this crazy adventure to brew local beer.”

There will be over 70 different beers pouring at the party. Guests can expect a full lineup of current MadTree beers, along with many fan favorites from the past. There will also be timed tappings throughout the day of special beers from MadTree and select breweries from around the country; many that are normally never available in the Cincinnati area.

All beers are five dollars a piece with different pour sizes depending on the type of beer being served. Beer tickets may be purchased in advance online through theMadTree website, in-person at the new taproom from February 7-10, or at the party. There will be live music all day plus local food trucks and restaurants to keep stomachs full.

Free parking is available at MadTree with overflow parking located across Madison Road at the Crossroads Church Annex lot (cars must be removed by 8AM Sunday morning). Guests may use the pedestrian bridge to safely cross Madison Road from the Annex to access the grounds of MadTree. The use of ride-sharing services or taxis is always strongly recommended.

This is a family friendly event; however, large crowds are expected in the evening. Pets are not permitted due to the crowds.
