San Clemente, CA — It’s beer-vana at Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza; the company is debuting a fresh-squeezed seasonal beer to commemorate 25 years as the getting together place for fresh baked pizzas, medal winning beers, and cheering on the winning team.
Oggi’s Anniversary Ale is a full bodied Orange Wheat beer infused with a twist of citrusy flavors to tempt the taste buds with each sip. The easy-to-drink brew is made with malted wheat and barley, and perfectly balanced with Amarillo hops and fresh orange juice to create a citrus-forward beer experience.
“The Orange Wheat was meant to be very drinkable and appeal to everyone,” said Tommy Hadjis, who oversees the Oggi’s brewing process. “More than two decades after we brewed our first beer, we continue working to craft the most creative, crave-able brews in the world, and this seasonal ale is a great example of Oggi’s signature style.”
The 25th Anniversary Ale can only be enjoyed in Oggi’s restaurants and Oggi’s Pizza Express locations across Southern California and Arizona from now until the end of October.
Oggi’s opened its doors in August of 1991 and started brewing beer in 1995, making them one of the first craft breweries in San Diego. Since then, Oggi’s has become known for their thoughtfully crafted selection of beers. Each location has 10 original brews on tap at a time: 8 regular beers plus one seasonal and one barrel-aged. The brewhouse has won more than 50 medals in international, national and regional beer competitions, making it one of the most decorated breweries in the world.
