Iron Hill To Help Hurricane Sandy Victims

WILMINGTON, DE — On Tuesday, November 13 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., all nine locations of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will host a special Give 20 Fundraiser to support the American Red Cross and their clean-up and recovery efforts in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. Guests can obtain the Give 20 vouchers online and print them out, then dine at any Iron Hill location and turn in the voucher to see 20% of their bill, excluding alcoholic beverages, donated to the Red Cross.

“With so much of our region affected by this unprecedented disaster, we knew immediately that we wanted to help, and our company-wide Give 20 initiative has always been a terrific way for us to contribute to charitable causes,” says Founding Partner Kevin Finn. “This special day-long Give 20 is our way of showing support and solidarity with all those whose lives were impacted by this devastating storm.”

Guests interested in participating in this fundraiser should visit this link to print out a Give 20 voucher and bring it with them when they dine at any Iron Hill location on Tuesday. Any guest presenting a voucher on that day will see 20% of their bill donated to the Red Cross. Red Cross workers have set up shelters and distributed much-needed supplies to people affected by Superstorm Sandy, the tropical storm that brought historic storm surges, widespread flooding and damaging winds to the New York and New Jersey coastlines earlier this month.

Iron Hill’s visionary Give 20 program is the group’s way of supporting a wide variety of charitable and non-profit initiatives. When a guest approaches the restaurant about a donation, they create custom Give 20 vouchers for that guest to distribute, good for a specific night, and on that night, any guest dining with a voucher will have 20% of their bill, excluding alcoholic beverages, donated to that cause.
