Chicago, IL — The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (Chicago/Midwest TMA) invites its members and other business professionals to BREWfast: A Close Look at the Craft Beer Shakeout. The program will be held on Friday, March 3 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. at The Standard Club, 320 S. Plymouth Ave., Chicago.

With the explosive growth in the number of breweries across the country, increasing competition, consolidation, and slowing growth in the craft beer sector suggests that an industry shakeout is on the horizon. Attendees will taste and learn with industry experts as they discuss the likelihood of a shakeout phase within the craft beer industry, and the likely need for turnaround professionals as the industry continues to mature.

Participating panelists include:

Donn Bichsel Jr., director of sales, Revolution Brewing
Jamie Lisac, managing partner, Finch Beer Co. and Hopothesis Beer Co.
Jason Notte, journalist, MarketWatch
Chris Furnari, editor, Brewbound
Steve Soble, CEO, Burnt City Brewing
Jack O’Connor of Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Hammer LLP will serve as moderator.

Craft beers will be on hand to sample as well as wine, soft drinks and light hors d’oeuvres.

Costs to attend are $40 for members; $80 for nonmembers; $25 for NextGen/Young Professionals and $15 for students. Register online at www.tmachicagomidwest.org or call the chapter office at (815) 469-2935.
