Hangar 24 Rebrands Its Helles Lager

Hangar 24 Wheels Up Helles Lager

Redlands, CA – Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has renamed their popular Helles Lager to Wheels Up. Previously available as a year round, this beer has transitioned into a seasonal available during the summer months.

The inspiration for this rebrand came from the season in which this style is most celebrated! Since this beer is light and toasty, Hangar 24 felt it was only right if the name reflected the same activities. Wheels Up embodies the idea of travel, relaxation, and beach days.

Wheels Up is also ranked 28th in the world by RateBeer users, which puts this beer in the top 1% of Helles Lagers in the world.

Wheels Up – 4.3% ABV

Taste: Delicate and traditional. This brilliantly clear Munich-style lager showcases a light, malty sweetness with a hint of German noble hop aroma and a crisp, clean finish.

About Hangar 24 Craft Brewery:

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery was founded in 2008 across from the Redlands, California airport. Widely known for their flagship beer, Orange Wheat, the brewery takes its name from the hangar in which Founder and Master Brewer Ben Cook and his fellow pilots would meet up with family and friends after a day of flying. They would share stories, barbecue, play music and enjoy Ben’s latest batch of homebrews. Hangar 24 Craft Brewery embodies that spirit: good beer, a love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being among good friends.
