Hangar 24 Craft Brewery Introduces Newest Local Fields Series Offering, Warmer

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery announced the release of its newest seasonal beer, Warmer, as the latest addition to the company’s Local Fields Series.

According to press materials, Warmer is a strong, rich ale brewed with holiday flavors like cinnamon, maple syrup, caramel malts and fresh spruce from the San Bernardino Mountains. The beer checks in at 7.8 percent ABV and will be available both on draught and in 22 oz. bottles starting Nov. 23.

Hangar 24 launched the Local Fields Series in early 2012 with Vinaceous, an 8.7 percent ABV English Old Ale. The series sources locally grown ingredients like pumpkin, red wine grapes and dates and currently boasts six beers that are brewed only once a year.

Hangar 24 expanded its distribution into Northern Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and the Central Coast earlier this month and is currently on pace to brew around 24,000 barrels in 2012. That’s up from 15,021 barrels in 2011 according to Brewers Association records.
