Fort Point Beer Co. Opens New Retail Outpost

Fort Point Beer Company

San Francisco, CA – Fort Point Beer Company announced today the opening of its first retail space in San Francisco’s Ferry Building Marketplace. Fort Point joins Blue Bottle Coffee, Marla Bakery, Dandelion Chocolate and SOW Juice in the Ferry Building’s North Arcade space.

The new location will offer six taps of brewery-fresh beer, delivered daily from Fort Point’s production facility on Crissy Field. In addition to Fort Point’s ongoing lineup of award-winning beers, the kiosk will also offer limited release and seasonal styles, in 64oz growlers to go as well as in tasting glasses onsite.

“We are thrilled to open the doors to our Ferry Building location,” said co-founder, Justin Catalana. “The kiosk is an exciting opportunity for Fort Point to connect directly with the public, to join an incredible community of small businesses, and to bring craft beer into the storied Marketplace.”

Alongside the draft beer offerings, the kiosk will serve locally sourced hot dogs from the Ferry Building’s own Acme Bread and Golden Gate Meat Company, and pretzels from Oakland’s Firebrand Bread.

Six packs of Fort Point cans and Fort Point merchandise will also be available for purchase onsite.

Fort Point Beer Company will be open everyday, 11:00am to 8:00pm.

About Fort Point Beer Company:

Fort Point Beer Company was founded in 2014 by brothers Tyler and Justin Catalana in the Presidio of San Francisco. The brewery resides in a historic Presidio building that was formerly used as an Army motor pool. Being situated in this iconic landscape reinforces our pride in San Francisco and in the beer we brew. We create balanced, thoughtful beers that reference traditional styles but are by no means bound to them. We want our beers to tell a story, inspire an idea, and be thoroughly enjoyable.
