Dover, DE – Fordham Brewing Company is bringing back a fan favorite and newly designed Wisteria Wheat as this year’s Spring/Summer Seasonal. Wisteria Wheat was last brewed in 2014 for draft only.

“We are definitely looking forward to having a solid German Hefe back in our seasonal line up”, says CEO Jim Lutz. “The oldest Wisteria plant in Maryland, which resides in the beer garden of the historical Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, served as the inspiration behind brewing this beer. The light fruitiness and zesty carbonation make it a perfect warm weather companion.”

Wisteria Wheat is an ale to be shared with friends. Its bright golden color and subtle notes of banana and clove make it a fine compliment to any backyard affair. Wisteria is brewed with Pale, Torrified Wheat, and Vienna malts, as well as Perle and Tradition hops. Chamomile is also added for a delicate floral and honey aroma.

Fordham Wisteria Wheat was a 2011 and 2012 Grand Champion winner at the United States Beer Tasting Championships and will be available in six-packs and on draft from May through July 2016.
