Dogfish Head’s Adam Lambert Added to Brewbound Craft Beer Session

Brewbound is pleased to announce that Dogfish Head Brewing’s VP of Sales, Adam Lambert, will speak at the Craft Beer Session on June 5th, 2012.

Lambert brings a wealth of sales experience to a panel discussion that will provide craft brewers key selling strategies and insights on the transition growing brands must make as they move from the local bottle shop into broader retail channels.  Lambert’s key message will focus on how a brewer can successfully convey a clear message, encouraging distributors and retailers to get behind a brand.

In his 20 years in the industry, Lambert has worked in every tier of the system, from liquor store clerk to wholesaler to his current role with Dogfish Head. Prior to joining the self-named “off-centered brewery” he spent six years with Rogue Ales, helping grow the brand from 22,000 barrels and $5 million in sales to 68,000 barrels and over $20 million. Prior to that, Lambert owned and operated his own wine distribution company.

The Brewbound Session will be held on June 5th at the Metropolitan Pavilion, a meeting and event space at 125 W. 18th Street in Manhattan. The event is co-located with BevNET Live, a two-day forum for beverage entrepreneurs, suppliers, distributors, retailers and investors.

The Brewbound Craft Beer Session is sponsored by Cold Spring Brewing Company, Key Keg and BevForce.

Early registration is available through April 15. To sign up for the event online, please visit the registration page. Additional questions regarding registration and sponsorship inquiries can be directed to Chris Furnari at 617-231-8828 or cfurnari@bevnet.com.
