Brew Talks Colorado will take place at New Belgium Brewing on Tuesday, March 22 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM MT and consist of craft beer business discussions and industry networking. Brew Talks events provide a platform to widen your perspective, engage with like-minded beer industry professionals and find new ways to grow your business.

Strategies for Scaling Sustainability-Minded Breweries Discussed at Brew Talks Colorado

Three sustainability-minded craft brewers from Colorado joined last week’s Brew Talks meetup, held at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colo., to share methods for scaling an eco-friendly brewery with more than 100 industry professionals. New Belgium’s director of sustainability Jenn Vervier, along with Upslope Brewing’s director of brewing operations, Dany Pages, and Taylor Kranz, a brewer with Fort Collins Brewery, explained how their companies have prioritized environmental sustainability over profits as they’ve grown.

Brew Talks Colorado: M&A, Pay-to-Play and the Threat of a Bursting Bubble

A trio of Colorado’s most recognizable beer industry leaders joined Tuesday’s Brew Talks meetup, hosted at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colo., to discuss the state of their industry. Odell Brewing co-founder Wynne Odell joined Left Hand Brewing co-founder Eric Wallace and New Belgium CEO Christine Perich to address a myriad of issues impacting the U.S. craft landscape, including mergers & acquisitions, the influx of capital in craft, increasing competition and ongoing distribution challenges.

A trio of notable craft brewery founders and executives will join next week’s Brew Talks meetup, being hosted at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins on Tuesday, March 22. New Belgium CEO Christine Perich, Left Hand Brewing co-founder Eric Wallace and Odell Brewing co-founder Wynne Odell will join Brewbound editor Chris Furnari to discuss top-of-mind industry issues, including merger & acquisition activity, pay-to-play and wholesaler consolidation, among other topics.

Brew Talks Travels to Fort Collins on March 22

Another town. Another round: Brewbound is pleased to announce that New Belgium Brewing, the country’s fourth largest craft brewery, will play host to a pair of Brew Talks events in 2016. The first, happening on March 22 at the New Belgium headquarters in Fort Collins, Colo., will feature two panel discussions on the business of beer. The evening's first conversation will look at eco-friendly brewing initiatives, triple bottom line business models and the challenges of scaling a sustainably-minded craft brewery. A second conversation on the state of the U.S. craft beer business will feature local brewery owners and look at marketplace issues such as pay-to-play, mergers & acquisitions, distributor consolidation and wholesaler incentive programs, among other topics.
