The 2016 Brewbound Session Brooklyn is about three weeks away, and we are excited to announce the day’s scheduled agenda, featuring more than 20 craft beer industry founders, executives and experts who will take the stage on June 9.

Kicking things off will be Craft Brew Alliance CEO Andy Thomas, who will deliver a thought-provoking keynote address on honesty, transparency, and the importance of self-reflection in today’s crowded craft environment.

Thomas will also join a wide-ranging state of the industry panel discussion featuring New Belgium CEO Christine Perich, Alchemy & Science president Alan Newman, and Brooklyn Brewery president Robin Ottaway.

The purchasing trends of health-conscious beer consumers and their impact on craft will also be explored during the morning session. Danelle Kosmal, the VP of Beverage Alcohol Practice at Nielsen, will present the findings of a proprietary consumer survey that was co-developed with Brewbound.

Victory co-founder Bill Covaleski, Southern Tier Brewing co-founder Phineas Demink, and Ulysses Management director Paul Barnett will also join the program to discuss succession planning and their recently-formed Artisanal Brewing Ventures.

Brewbound has also tapped the leaders of Shmaltz Brewing, Atwater Brewery, Bronx Brewery and Rhinegeist Brewery, who will each share their own entrepreneurial journeys.

In addition to the 6th edition of the Startup Brewery Challenge, presented by Craft Brew Alliance, the June 9 Brewbound Session will also feature a discussion looking into the future of the global craft beer landscape. This panel will pull in international craft brands Camden Town Brewery and Amsterdam Brewing Co. alongside the VP of Global Craft and Specialties for AB-InBev to discuss worldwide opportunities for craft sales and current international industry trends.

Along with the business programming, we’ll still have time left for networking and beers. With that, we excited to announce the official Brewbound Session Welcome Reception, taking place on Wednesday, June 8 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Brooklyn Crab (24 Reed St. Brooklyn, NY 11231).
