Crazy Mountain Brewery Receives Mid-Size Business of the Year Award

Crazy Mountain BrewingEDWARDS, Colo. — The Vail Valley Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau (VVP) awarded Crazy Mountain Brewery the Mid-Size Business of the Year award on Friday evening in a Success Awards ceremony among hundreds of local business owners. The VVP honors one company each year for the Mid-Size Business award who demonstrates ethical business practices, professional and strong community involvement. This award comes on the heels of winning Entrepreneur of the Year and Small Business of the Year in 2012 and 2011, respectively.

Crazy Mountain was nominated by colleagues and peers in the Vail area and voted on by a panel of local business professionals. They recognized the tremendous growth that Crazy Mountain had experienced in 2012. The company transitioned through a major expansion that increased the production capacity by more than 17 fold. This required an immense amount of construction. This expansion allowed them to begin meeting the demand they have for their beer around the country. During 2012 they entered into several distribution agreements throughout the country. Crazy Mountain took a strategic approach to their distribution efforts by getting their brand into the most strategic beer markets around the country. They now have a presence in every corner of the country in an effort to strategically develop their brand as a nationwide brand. Crazy Mountain is currently selling beer in 12 states and two countries.
