Columbus Brewing Company Plans Initial Release of Bodhi Double IPA Bottles

Columbus, Ohio – “When are you going to put Bodhi in bottles?” might be the most often-asked question of Columbus Brewing Company’s brewer and co-owner, Eric Bean about his GABF award-winning double IPA. Now that the brewery is settled into its new home on the west side of Columbus, production capacity has increased 200% and the new bottling line is up and running, the stars have aligned for CBC consumer’s dreams to become reality: Bodhi will be bottled for the first time in the company’s history.

Columbus Brewing Company intends to celebrate the occasion with its customers by hosting the initial release of bottled Bodhi at the brewery. “Ours fans have patiently but persistently been asking for us to bottle Bodhi for years,” said Eric Bean. “Now that we’re able to make that happen, inviting fans to the brewery and making it a party seems like the best way to share the excitement with them because, believe me, we’re just as eager to get Bodhi out in bottles as they are to be able to take it home.”

On Saturday, July 16 Columbus Brewing Company will run two sessions for the public to celebrate the arrival of Bodhi bottles at the brewery (2555 Harrison Road, Columbus, OH 43204). Sessions will be from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm Admission tickets will be $100 and include a souvenir glass, limited edition t-shirt, 2 pints of beer (including Bodhi, Ales for ALS and other selections) and one of the first cases of Bodhi to come off of the Columbus Brewing Company bottling line. You must be 21 years of age to attend the Bodhi Bottle Release. Tickets will be available online beginning July 7th at 12:00 pm. (
