Hazel Park, MI — A variety of mead, cider, and beer hand crafted by a band of friends with a combined 20 years of professional experience at the highest level enters the ever expanding Michigan craft alcohol scene. Opening fall of 2015, Cellarmen’s brings Hazel Park’s first microbrewery, meadery and cider producer to Metro-Detroit centrally located in the area of I-75 and I-696 on John R.

Plans also include a tasting room featuring mead, cider, and beer sampled by the glass, as well as product and merchandise available for retail purchase. Focusing on what is quickly becoming the unofficial mead capital of the world, the location in South-East Michigan serves to enrich and connect the surrounding craft beverage communities.

World Class Mead and Cider makers Ian Radogost-Givens and Jason Petrocik bring to Cellarmen’s vast knowledge and highly decorated honors from their time working as alcohol makers in Michigan. Jason and Ian plan to source ingredients from local suppliers and work with many local farms for high quality products including honey for mead, apples for cider, and hops for beer.

A team highly skilled in craft mead and cider sales along with considerable insight in fermentation will oversee sales and distribution at Cellarmen’s.

Also volunteering their services will be many award winning and highly experienced brewers, wine makers and spirit makers from the Michigan alcohol industry. More news about team members and their roles will be released as we continue to move toward opening.
