Bronx Brewery Releases Summer Pale Ale

THE BRONX, N.Y. – Today, the Brewery from the borough on top of New York City invites New Yorkers – in residence and in spirit – to join them for a Summer Done Right, Delivered From Above.

All too often does summer in NYC revolve around expensive Hamptons vacations or selfie sticks on the rooftop lounge, but good weather, good times and good beer are all that’s needed to make summer memories that last. And, for the first time, The Bronx Brewery’s Summer Pale Ale is available in 12 oz. six packs to deliver that Borough On Top, Bronx attitude to wherever those memories are being made.

Crisp and refreshing, the seasonal pale ale is brewed with citrus hops & dried lemon peel. And though it is inspired by Master Brewer Damian Brown’s years living in Germany drinking Radlers, it’s perfect for summer days closer to home – because real NYC fun is subway rides, not private jet rides away.

To reward those who already know that real Summer fun doesn’t take much to be memorable, The Bronx Brewery will be rewarding 21+ New Yorkers who share photos of #SummerDoneRight in their borough with weekly prizes from Memorial through Labor Day. For full contest rules, visit SummerDoneRight.com

And respecting the hustle of those who make stuff and make stuff happen during even the hottest of days, The Bronx Brewery will also be delivering cold, citrusy refreshment in the form of surprise happy hours to select offices and work locations. For your company to be considered, email how you’re doing one thing and doing it right – just like the Bronx Brewery does with pale ale – at SummerDoneRight@TheBronxBrewery.com, including the amount of people in your crew.

The Bronx Brewery will also be partnering with Out In The Streets Festival this year as title sponsor, an emerging music festival taking place on the border of Queens and Brooklyn, where they’re all about Doing Summer Right. The Borough on Top will be serving up Bronx Summer Pale Ale (along with some of their B-Sides and year-round pale ales) to festival-goers on July 16th and 17th at the Onderdonk House grounds. For line-up and ticket info, visit OutInTheStreets.com

The Bronx Brewery also continues to support New York Restoration Project this Summer. Announced during The Bronx Brewery Backyard’s “Opening Day” party this spring, The Haven Project is NYRP’s effort to open spaces in The South Bronx and improve public access to them. As part of the Haven Project, a shuttle bus from the brewery to the Randall’s Island connector will be running, allowing visitors of The Bronx a safe way to visit the park. Additional information on the evolving partnership, the “Twigs and Swigs” social volunteer program, and other initiatives will be announced throughout the coming months.

About The Bronx Brewery

Founded on the philosophy of “doing one thing and doing it right”, in reference to their maniacal focus on pushing the boundaries of what a pale ale can be, The Bronx Brewery aims to bring the long tradition of brewing back to the borough once known for it. Craft beer with Bronx-style attitude, Delivered From Above.

With the goal in mind to create the best pale ales on the East Coast, they’ve quickly gained recognition within the Northeast craft beer community and publications from The New York Times to the Wall Street Journal have covered their journey from a small startup in 2011 to their current place as one of NYC’s fastest growing craft breweries.

Located at 856 East 136th Street in The Bronx, the Brewery’s Tasting Room is now open seven days a week (Monday through Friday starting at 3PM and Saturday and Sunday starting at Noon).
