San Diego, Calif. – To celebrate its fifth year in business, Bottlecraft Beer Shop is excited to announce a special bottle release in collaboration with Abnormal Beer Co. Each year, Bottlecraft creates a beer resembling a birthday cake, and this year it is a Mexican-style cake. Quinquenio, which means “five year period” in Spanish, is an Imperial Stout brewed with piloncillo, Ethiopian cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla and ancho chilies at 11% alcohol by volume.

“As we geared up for our fifth birthday, it seemed natural for me to reach out to Abnormal Beer Co.,” said Bottlecraft Owner, Brian Jensen, “They’re a young, local brewery with quality beer and I loved seeing their creativity as we worked together in celebration of our fifth birthday.”

Quinquenio will be released to the public at Bottlecraft’s Anniversary Party on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00am. The 22oz bottles will be sold exclusively at Bottlecraft’s three San Diego locations – Little Italy, North Park and Liberty Station. They will be available on a first come, first served basis with a six bottle per person limit.
