Beers from Michigan’s Bell’s Brewery will officially land in Texas this month.

The brewery has signed with Silver Eagle Distributors for coverage in Houston and San Antonio, and distribution will begin in early March.

“All of us at Silver Eagle are excited to bring the brewery’s robust line-up to our friends in Houston and San Antonio,” Silver Eagle chairman and CEO John L. Nau III said in a press release. “Bell’s has done a tremendous job making a name for themselves among the craft beer community and beyond, and we have no doubt their arrival into Houston and San Antonio will be met with a warm and friendly Texas welcome!”

Bell’s, known for Two Hearted Ale and Hopslam double IPA, will send its lineup of year-round and seasonal beers as well as a beer brewed specifically for Texas. Named “Am I Right or Amarillo,” the American IPA is brewed exclusively with Amarillo hops and boasts big citrus and tropical fruit notes, according to the brewery. The Texas exclusive will be available in 12 oz. six-packs and draft.

“The response we’ve had on launching in Texas has been incredible,” Bell’s CEO Laura Bell said in a press release. “So many kind words from fans in Texas and from Michigan transplants, even those from Kalamazoo. We cannot wait to have a beer with everyone in person, make new friends and reconnect.”

Bell’s will also be shipping the following beers to the state:

  • Amber Ale – American Amber Ale
  • Kalamazoo Stout – American Stout
  • Lager of the Lakes – Bohemian Pilsner
  • Oarsman Ale – Tart Wheat Ale
  • Oatsmobile Ale – American Pale Ale Brewed with Oats
  • Porter – Robust Porter
  • Third Coast Beer – Pale Ale
  • Two Hearted Ale – American IPA
  • Oberon Ale – American Wheat Ale (Seasonal Mar-Aug)
  • Best Brown Ale – American Brown Ale (Seasonal Sept-Oct)
  • Winter White Ale – Belgian Inspired Wheat Ale (Seasonal Nov-Jan)

Bell’s, the seventh largest craft brewery in the nation according to the Brewers Association, announced plans to send its beer to the Lone Star State last year but didn’t announce its wholesale partners until September.

Bell’s beers are now available in 31 states.
