Baxter Expands Distribution to New York

Baxter Brewing Co

Baxter Brewing has announced plans to expand distribution to New York per two partnerships with a pair of L. Knife and Son wholesalers.

Having just rounded out its presence in New England, the 4-year-old Maine brewery, which produces an all-canned lineup of beers, has inked deals with Union Beer Distributors and Craft Beer Guild Distributing for coverage throughout New York City and the Hudson River Valley respectively.

“It’s been gratifying to find so much interest, so far afield, so quickly,” said Ben Low, director of brewing operations at Baxter, in a news release. “New York is the next logical destination.”

The brewery has employed a contiguous growth strategy to date, having recently expanded its distribution throughout all six states that comprise New England. New York makes for the seventh state in the brewery’s distribution footprint.

Baxter will initially launch “right away” with its full lineup of beers, including Pamola Xtra Pale Ale and Tarnation California-Style Lager, with seasonal offerings set to become available according to their release dates.
