Dallas, TX – The Andrews Distributing team is excited to announce a partnership with AleSmith Brewing Company of San Diego, Calif.
AleSmith was founded in 1995 in a small, single-unit space in the commercial district of Miramar, San Diego and packed to the gills with a 15-barrel brew system, tasting bar, office and small-but-formidable three-man team. Today, the AleSmith team comprises more than 70 passionate members crafting an expansive portfolio of artisanal beers from a 105,000-square-foot facility equipped with a state-of-the- art 80-barrel brewhouse that will eventually produce 250,000 barrels annually.
The brewery has won a variety of industry awards for their beers and brewing practices. Most notably, AleSmith was named Small Brewing Company and Brewer of the Year at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival, and #1 Best Brewery in the World and #1 Brewery in California based on consumer reviews via RateBeer.com in 2014. AleSmith has also amassed 17 GABF medals and nine World Beer Cup medals over its 20-year history.
Bob Sullivan, Andrews vice president of craft brand building, said the award-winning brewery will be warmly welcomed by beer enthusiasts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Andrews plans to launch the AleSmith portfolio January 18, 2016 in DFW. The first brands to enter the market will be AleSmith’s IPA, Nut Brown, Lil’ Devil and Speedway Stout, plus seasonal and limited- release beers in both package and draft.
