Ale Asylum to Release High Coup Tropical IPA

MADISON, WI — Regional craft brewery Ale Asylum is gearing up for the 4/20 release of High Coup Tropical IPA, an anticipated beer originally slated to drop the same time in 2015.

After one year of experimentation in their Pilot Batch program they not only created a recipe that met their expectations but a new style to add to their vast portfolio of hop-centric beers.

“We decided to postpone this release last year because we felt the recipe wasn’t hitting the mark and we’ll never put something in the market we aren’t 110% happy with,” said Ale Asylum Co-Founder Otto Dilba. “Tropical IPA’s have recently gained traction in the craft beer market because the profile is remarkably unique. One minute you’re enjoying tropical fruit notes and then it dovetails with a contrasting bold bitterness.”
