Stevens Point Brewery Announces 2012 ‘Drop Dead Blonde’ Contest

Stevens Point BrewerySTEVENS POINT, WI – In March the Stevens Point Brewery announced the availability of the widely popular Point Drop Dead Blonde, a 110 calorie ale, in 12-ounce long-neck bottles and 12-ounce aluminum cans. Now the search is on for the real thing. Beginning today, Point Beer fans over the age of 21 will be able to visit the brewery’s website (www.pointbeer.com), fill out an application, upload a photo, and enter to win $500 and the title of the brewery’s 2012 Point Drop Dead Blonde.

“Contestants will be able to enter their photographs until June 15th,” Operating Partner Joe Martino said. “The top five contestants will then be posted on the brewery’s Facebook page, allowing visitors to vote or “Like” their favorites.” He said.

The winner will be announced the week of June 18, 2012 and must be available for public appearances this summer. All entries will be judged on overall appearance and answers to the questions in the application.
