Craft Beer Session: Put Your Beer on a Platform with Untappd

Brewbound is pleased to announce that Greg Avola, the co-founder and CTO of brewery social media resource Untappd, will present a case study on how craft brewers can best employ social media platforms to build their audience and their sales.

Untappd, a mobile- and web-based social network for beer drinkers, allows them to rate and review beer, check-in what they are consuming and the location and share with their friends – but it also gives breweries and distributors the ability to quickly analyze consumer trends, tinker with their brand profile and engage with the consumers who are drinking their beers.

Using Untappd and other social media sites as a template, Avola will provide audience members with the key metrics and goals of social media engagement, as well as an understanding of the limitations of the most commonly used social media tools.
