“His energy, passion and significant industry experience will be key drivers for PBC’s exciting new future.

Steffanci joined Heineken USA in 2005 as Vice President, Central Region. He was named the Vice President, Northeast Region in 2006 and the Senior Vice President Sales in October 2007. He will begin his assignment with Pabst March 14.

According to Steffanc:

“I was not actively seeking a new role when the Pabst Brewing Company came to me unexpectedly with an amazing opportunity that was right for me at this time in my career. This was a very difficult decision to make as I have grown tremendously during my time at Heineken USA, and I was able to make significant contributions to the success of that organization. I am grateful for the many opportunities my time at Heineken USA has afforded me, and wish the many friends I have made at HUSA nothing but the best.”

“Chris was a great leader at Heineken USA and will certainly be missed,” said Heineken USA President and CEO Dolf van den Brink. “However, the company is fortunate to have a very strong Sales Leadership Team that is well-equipped to maintain stability and forward progress. We have a set of clearly defined objectives   and strategies that Chris helped develop which will propel us towards our goal of becoming the leading upscale beer company in the U.S. We will aim to appoint Chris’s successor as soon as possible.”

“We are very excited to have Chris join our executive team as COO,” said Dean Metropoulos, Chairman of Pabst Brewing Company (PBC). “His energy, passion and significant industry experience will be key drivers for PBC’s exciting new future.”
