Press Release: Avery Brewing

Dihos Dactylion

BOULDER, Co – Avery Brewing Company is set to release their newest Barrel-Aged Sour beer, Dihos Dactylion.

The Beer will be released on 2/25 during a special release party at the Avery tap Room. Read below for more information.

Experimentation. Ales and lagers that defy styles or categories. This is what we are about: our driving force, our passion. To further facilitate this innovative spirit, we've developed our Barrel-Aged Series where anything, and we mean ANYTHING, goes! Brewed for those as adventurous as we are!

All Barrel-Aged Series brews are crafted on a one-and-done basis; brewed once and never again.  This gives us the opportunity for continued experimentation and creativity.  Barrel-Aged Series beers are sold as brewery only releases, or as limited releases sold to the best bottle shops and beer bars nationwide.   Generally beers with <100 cases produced are deemed brewery only releases and those which we can produce >100 cases of are allowed for sale outside the brewery walls.

Release Party and Bottle Event – Scheduled for Friday, 2/25 at 6PM at the Avery Tap Room

$8 per 12oz bottle – limit 6 per customer – 200 cases (24/12oz bottles) for sale

Dihos Dactylion, and other Barrel-Aged Series releases with potential to be sold outside the brewery, will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a limit of six bottles per customer.   While these beers are likely to be released in venues outside Avery Brewing Company, the Release Party is your best opportunity to get the beer.  The following rules and suggestions apply:

    1. Customers will have one chance to purchase the beer on the night of the release only.  Again, attending the Release Party is your best opportunity to get the beer.
    2. If the beer does not sell out on the night of the release, the remainder of the beer will be allocated to the top Avery beer bars and bottle shops in select markets across the country.
    3. The number of cases for sale will always be advertised in advance and printed on the bottle.
    4. Customers will be served on a first come, first served basis.
    5. Limit of six bottles per person until 9PM the night of the release.  After 9PM, if bottles remain and the line has ceased, customers will have the opportunity to purchase an additional six-pack.
    6. Bring cash to the release.  That line moves faster.  We also accept credit cards.
