SanTan Brewing Company Unveils Craft Beers in Cans

Chandler, Ariz. – August 23, 2010 – The SanTan Brewing Company of Chandler announced that two if its award-winning craft beers – Hopshock IPA and Hefeweizen – will now be sold in cans. The new cans are available year-round in 6-packs at select retail locations serviced by Crescent Crown Distributing. The two brews are available in Arizona at a typical retail price of $8.99 for the Hefeweizen and $9.99 for the Hopshock IPA per 6-pack, and distribution is expected to expand to other markets throughout the year.

SanTan HopShock IPA (India Pale Ale) is a traditional West Coast Ale with an intense bitterness derived from the distinct citrus/pine character of Pacific Northwest hops. A dry, crisp malt character and aggressive alcohol make this IPA a Hop-Heads passion.

SanTan Hefeweizen is a traditional German Wheat beer brewed with a very distinctive strain of wheat yeast that gives it an unmistakably strong Banana-clove flavor and aroma. Hefeweizen is an un-filtered beer which gives the recognizably hazy gold appearance. Served with a wedge of lemon or orange, Hefeweizen tastes fantastic with spiced meats and anything with cheese.

“Beer lovers … get your taste buds ready,” said Anthony Canecchia, Owner and Head Brew Master of SanTan Brewing Company. “Canned beer is better. Craft cans are best.”
