With the event just one month away, we also have a few program updates to share:

We’re very excited to announce that Dan Wandel, IRI Worldwide’s principal of beverage alcohol client insights, has joined our lineup of expert presenters. During his presentation, Wandel will share the most current craft trends, provide a snapshot of craft activity in the Midwest and describe how craft’s “long tail” is altering the entire U.S. beer landscape.

The Startup Brewery Challenge will also make its return to the Brewbound Session for a fourth edition this summer. This bi-annual business pitch competition, presented by Craft Brew Alliance, gives U.S. craft breweries (on the market for less than two years) a chance to showcase their business plans, sample one core product offering and receive immediate feedback from a panel of expert judges. The winning company will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Portland, Ore., take part in one-on-one business coaching with CBA executives and brew a collaboration beer at Widmer Brothers’ new pilot brewery.
