Stony Creek Brewery’s newest beer release, a collaboration with a regional environmental nonprofit, seeks to help protect and improve the land, air and water of Connecticut and Long Island Sound.

Branford, Connecticut-based Stony Creek Brewery has hired Anheuser-Busch InBev sales and marketing vet Dan Shannon as CEO and David Morrice as VP of sales. Dave Mevoli has joined ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktail maker Fishers Island Lemonade as chief operating officer.

Three key members of Stony Creek Brewery’s team were laid off this week. Stony Creek director of operations Manny Rodriguez confirmed to Brewbound that brewmaster Andy Schwartz, director of sales Jamal Robinson and key account manager Spencer Niebuhr are no longer employed by the company.
