Overview: Odin Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in the Seattle area of Washington, USA.The company operates a production facility and pub in Tukwila, Washington. Their bottles can be found in Washington, Idaho, and British Columbia.HistoryOwner Daniel Lee founded the company after leaving the marketing department of MillerCoors and Brian Taft was brought in as the Brewmaster. Taft previously worked at three different breweries, including Gordon Biersch and Guinness, and three different wineries.The South Park facility is a 15000abbr=on 15bbl brewhouse with six 30bbl fermenters. The plant can produce 3,500 barrels a year. In 2013, the Asgard Tavern was opened in Fremont near the popular Fremont Brewing Company. The Tukwila tasting room opened in 2014. The city hopes it will spur more business outside of the nearby Westfield Southcenter shopping mall. The Tukwila location will eventually house the brewery.BeerOdin's Gift is a dark amber crafted with juniper berries. The ale accounts for 50 to 60 percent of the brewery's sales. Freya's Gold Kölsch-style ale, Sigun IPA, and Viking Gold extra-pale ale are other beers available throughout the year. Thor's Equinox is a seasonal dark Belgian strong ale that goes well with chocolate cake.The Saga Stout won silver at the 2014 Washington Beer Awards.

Deal Mania: Lagunitas Goes Local; Krebs Brewing Purchases Prairie Labels; Odin Brewing Acquires Hilliard’s Brands

What a week for craft dealmaking. Yesterday, Lagunitas Brewing announced a string of investments into three smaller breweries that are intended to help the country’s sixth largest craft outfit “expand” the way it participates in local markets; Oklahoma’s Krebs Brewing Company has purchased Tulsa-based Prairie Artisan Ales, a small but well-known craft label amongst beer aficionados and another small deal in the Pacific Northwest will see the intellectual property and select brewing assets of Seattle-based Hilliard’s Beer LLC. transferred to the smaller Odin Brewing Company in Tukwila, Wash.
