Brewbound Portland, ME – Recap Part 2

3 PM – Shipyard Brewing After Allagash everyone piled back onto the bus and we headed to the waterfront to make our final two stops of the day. The first was Shipyard Brewing! Our visit to Shipyard was a bit different than Allagash, instead of a tour of their facility we watched a 15 minute video on their brewery. Little know fact: Did you know that Shipyard bottles a lot more beer than just Shipyard? At their Portland location they also contract brew for Peak Organic, Gritty McDuffs and many more! After the video we [...]

The following is a recap of the day’s event with photos and videos: 9:00 AM – Brewbound Headquarters We arrived to our office to pack up our cars full of beers, snacks and music gear. New Week, New Brewery added to Brew Bound Portland – Allagash!

When we first started planning Brew Bound Portland one of the stops we wanted to make was Allagash Brewing. Unfortunately Allagash is closed to tours on the weekend so we ruled it out as a possible visit. Well, that was until our good friend Seth talked to one of the brewers at Allagash! As it turns out Allagash will open up just for Jeff Rowe and friends on March 13th! – Brew Bound ps. The brewery will remain closed to visitors/tours. You will need to be part of Brew Bound to enter the brewery.

Brew Bound first voyage announced!

On March 13th 2010, Brew Bound will embark on its inaugural voyage into the great New England landscape! We’ll be bringing along a good friend through music and beer, Harpoon Brewer, Jeff Rowe. Brew Bound will be attempting to reproduce a little piece of magic that Suburban Home Records and Chad Price were able to pull off last Fall. On their journey through the Colorado country side, they visited countless breweries and enjoyed impromptu live sets on the brew house floors of Odell’s, Great Divide, and Avery Brewery. Brew Bound and friends will meet at [...]
